Eid Mubarak, A Proud Milestone & Many Reasons to Be Grateful!

As we gather in spirit and celebration for Eid al-Adha, I extend my heartfelt wishes to all who are observing this blessed occasion. May this Eid bring peace, prosperity, and joy to you and your loved ones.

We’re grateful for the recent rains that have refreshed our beautiful Colorado landscape—reminding us of nature’s resilience and the importance of sustainable stewardship. From the foothills to the plains, the renewed greenery is a welcome sight and a symbol of growth and renewal.

This Eid is especially meaningful for our family as we celebrate a major milestone: my son, Adam, has graduated with Honors as a Mechanical Engineer from the Colorado School of Mines. His journey has been one of curiosity, creativity, and commitment—from mastering 3D modeling and 3D printing, to exploring automation systems and electric vehicle technologies. Adam’s passion for innovation and sustainability continues to inspire us, and we couldn’t be prouder of the engineer—and person—he’s become.

To all the graduates and their families—congratulations on your hard-earned success. And to everyone celebrating Eid—may your days be filled with happiness and your hearts with gratitude.

Warm regards,

Jomaa Ben Hassine, PE, PhD
